Contrary to Opinion, There is only One Gospel

This week we are starting the Book of Galatians. We are starting out in verses 6-10 where Paul is admonishing the Galatian church for listening to the agitators and false teachers. Paul quickly reminds the church that there is only one gospel and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. If you preach a word that is different from the word of God, you will surely be accursed. So much so that Paul reiterates his statement of being accursed from verse 8 into verse 9.
We should never seek man’s approval when preaching the word of God. Our approval comes from God and God alone. In all cases you will never please every man and you should never try. God is our king and when God is pleased with us, He will bless us with the kingdom of heaven.
