Godzilla: King of the Monsters is a 2019 American monster film directed by Michael Dougherty. A sequel to Godzilla (2014), it is the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise and the third film in Legendary Pictures' MonsterVerse.

Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah.
