Hawley: Algorithms Are Designed By Humans

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) testified on section 230 on Wednesday during a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

He is correct that algorithms are created by people. These algorithm designers would be more than content if people just threw up their hands and assigned all the blame to computers, gadgets, and other non-designers of the algorithms.
