City Church lead pastor, Jim Simpson, teaches on Luke 5:33-39 this Sunday morning. In this text, the Pharisees ask Jesus why His followers don’t fast like the disciples of John the Baptist. Jesus chastises them on their lip service to religious practice without internalizing the nature of the Law to bring about humility and repentance.
