What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.
Proverbs 19:22 ESV

The Hebrew word translated "steadfast love" in this verse is chesed, which implies so much more than mere affection. Whether you're looking for a friend, a husband, or an employee, look for a man with chesed.
