Surgery Day Has FINALLY Arrived After 6mo!

I’m resting, just know I had the best care at my oral surgeon’s office! My doctors and their team all helped soothe me and gave me the best experience.

Along with my invisible illnesses, I also have PTSD (and have experienced past medical traumas…yes, plural). The two combined are a worrisome combination for myself, as I understand I’m not a typical patient. My needs are very different. At my consultation and during my surgical appointment, the whole way through I was heard as a patient. The nurses advocated for me (which makes the doctors jobs easier), my doctors addressed and resolved my concerns. I was in and out, and now I’m on the road to recovery!

I’m happy to be getting my smile back! 😸
