SUPERNATURAL: Changelings, Tricksters and Spirits | Same Entities seen by Different Cultures?

Inspired by Graham Hancock's book "Supernatural: Meetings with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind", I wanted to make a video briefly exploring the changeling and fairy phenomena in European folklore, the trickster figures seen in mythologies across the world, and the DMT Entities and UFOs witnessed by millions of people in the last several decades. It seems like the supernatural beings we know as changelings, fairies, elves, dwarves, trolls, and other such spirits all have some things in common.
Notice how the story of supernatural kidnappings shifted from fairies stealing humans, to aliens abducting humans. Is it possible that all these beings have been the same kind of entity the whole time? And that what makes them appear differently is the cultural and historical lens in which they are viewed?
