Paneer tikka is a delicious Indian vegetarian dish that is made by marinating chunks of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) in a mixture of yogurt and spices, and then grilling or baking them until they are lightly charred and crispy on the outside. Here is a simple recipe to make paneer tikka at home:

Ingredients:

1 pound paneer, cut into cubes
1/2 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste
1 tablespoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon chaat masala
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon oil
Salt to taste
Skewers
Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, add yogurt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, chaat masala, lemon juice, oil, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
Add paneer cubes to the marinade and gently toss to coat them evenly. Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
Preheat your oven to 400°F or heat a grill pan over medium-high heat.
Soak the skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent them from burning.
Thread the marinated paneer cubes onto the skewers.
Place the skewers on the grill pan or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Grill or bake the paneer skewers for 10-15 minutes, turning them occasionally until all sides are evenly charred and crisp.
Remove the paneer tikka from the skewers and serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings.
Enjoy your delicious homemade paneer tikka!
