DYK? Cordyceps, the fungus seen in #TheLastOfUs, does NOT make people sick. It evolved over millions of years to ONLY infect ants. 🐜

Even though cordyceps doesn't make people sick, humans—especially those with weakened immune systems—can be infected by other fungi.
