I just want to voice my utter and complete disgust for these supposed left-of-center commentators who get so much mileage sort of obsessively criticizing the trans movement and their activists. Like Jesse Singal and his weird little sidekick. Yep. and you know more broadly the absolute bores who endlessly go on and on but wokeness and cancel culture while never addressing like the sheer psychopathy of the right wing. Jonathan Chait and Iglesias and that crew. The popularity. Yeah, it's just a very bizarre set of people. And it's just very the way that they operate like their framework's very dishonest. Because they'll just use kind of vague implications about the other side while never you know being specific. The taxonomy is a little bit different I think the signal is like has some I don't know exactly what there's something deeper going on there that this has become his sort of like beat in complete identity for years now. And but when you're talking about the Chait and Iglesias types and the Nate silver types and the popularists. I think the impetus is very similar to what we just saw with the press secretary mocking Marianne Williamson. Which is like it is I'm gonna pick the most marginalized person around that I can find and sort of bully them in some way and create some distance so that it I am up appearing you know sort of like reasonable or cool. I mean honestly liking to use these terms are sort of ridiculous. but that's what's going on. here like you know like I'm the rebel there it is a reactionary mindset frankly. yeah and I'll the reactionary mindset here is the idea of I'm going against the trend. But in fact, what you're really doing is no you're just reinforcing the genuinely pre-existing or prior existing structures that have been here always. But it's you trying to make it like you're repacking it like like I'm cool. I'm like I'm daring. I'm a rebel. but in fact no you're not you're really just you're just basically playing into the pre-existing bigotry that has existed.
