S1-E6 OH NO! Slideout Disaster, Headin' Back to Texas. Fulltime RV Living

In this episode, the rvnewbies Chris & Tammy are heading back to Texas to get their schwintek slideout fixed.

We’ve had problems with this slideout since we bought the RV. We thought we had it fixed. But,
as soon as we were ready to head to coastal Alabama with the grandkids for the summer, we
could not get it to close. We hired an RV tech to fix it, but he said the motors were bad. We decided
to get them replaced once we made it to Alabama.
However, it wasn’t just the motors. Cherokee RV sent 6 guys out to help push it out so we could
enjoy our summer. We have been working with the dealership, extended warranty company, and
our insurance to get this resolved. All of the RV techs we hired to help us, do not like the
schwintek slides.

We are driving back to the Texas Hill Country to drop our RV off at the dealership & to find out what is really the problem.
