We had Lauren Hissrich months ago state that The Witcher season 3 would be more faithful to the books. That was all a bunch of lies, as we are now having VFX artist confirm that there will be more deviation in the upcoming season. This is what led Henry Cavill to leave The Witcher, and it certainly didn't help that The Witcher show writers were actively looking to deviate from the source material because they hated the game.
