SugarHill DDot was born sometime in the year 2009. At least, that’s the general consensus. The finer points of this kid’s life, like his birthday and government name have yet to be revealed. But considering that A) this kid just broke out over the course of 2022 and that B) he’s literally still in the middle of growing up -- it shouldn’t be that surprising to learn he’s keeping things close to the vest. That being said, he’s occasionally discussed his earlier days during the few interviews he’s been a part of to this point in his career and this is what we managed to discover. For one thing, he was born to a Dominican family that made their home in Harlem’s Sugar Hill. And while large sections of Sugar Hill are relatively affluent, that’s not to say that’s every persons’ experience growing up there. It certainly wasn’t for DDot who has spent a considerable amount of his life hustling on the neighborhood’s streets simply to survive – or at least, he likes to present himself as such. Let’s not forget that this kid is still just 13-years-old, though there’s no denying that he likes to play rough. And at times, very rough.
