With his life has taken a much different path than originally imagined, David kept his nose to the grindstone and continued to churn out one new song after the next. Over the past four months alone he’s released four new songs, including “Dirty Secrets”, “Poetic Vulgarity” and “Placebo Effect”. But it’s his track “Here with Me” that’s really making people take notice. The music video to this song directed by Arman Mitchell tells a love story influenced heavily by the early montage sequence in the hit animated film “Up” – one of David’s favorite films – and involves two people finding someone they can rely on, who will always be there for them. Of course, while the video starts off relatively sweet, it slowly evolves into David’s now classic aesthetic that he hopes to use as a unifying concept that will bind all of his music together. He described how to V-Man, stating: “I’m trying to build a whole world with my songs. Because this song is so different from ‘Romantic Homicide,’ I tried to figure out to keep it in the same universe. So, the video gradually gets darker.”
