But before becoming a social-media superstar, Belle attempted to live a normal every-day life by supporting herself with odd jobs like being a waitress, a nanny, and a barista. Unfortunately, none of these roles felt like they fit. What did feel natural however was something else she started doing at the age of 14 – posting cosplay photos of herself to her now-defunct Facebook account. Shortly thereafter, at the age of 15, Belle moved out of her family home and into a place by herself. Over the next handful of years, her social media presence would continue to grow steadily and lacking any formal degree to speak of, she realized that her best bet was to leverage this popularity into something she could actually make money off of.
