As for work outside of YouTube, during summertime in college, Michael occasionally found part-time gigs through a career placement organization. The only problem? He was late to his very first orientation and wound up having to take what was left over -- a job working as a school janitor for a month. Thankfully, he upgraded shortly thereafter to helping out with a freelance graphic designer, something that he wound up enjoying a whole heck of a lot more than scrubbing floors, even if the pay still wasn’t all that good. But hey, at least it allowed him to flex his creative muscles for what would come next.
