The REAL Reason Susan Wojcicki Left YouTube... #Shorts

During her time as YouTube’s CEO, Susan worked closely with her successor, Neal Mohan, ensuring that he’s ready to hit the ground running and lead YouTube into the next decade while contending with the rise of TikTok which has really given YouTube a run for its money over these past couple of years. When asked to comment upon the departure, Google co-founders Page and Brin said in a statement: “Susan has a unique place in Google history and has made the most incredible contribution to products used by people everywhere. We’re so grateful for all she’s done over the last 25 years.” As for Susan, she seems excited about the prospect of turning the page. She wrote in a letter to her staff: “Today, after nearly 25 years here, I’ve decided to step back from my role as the head of YouTube and start a new chapter focused on my family, health and personal projects I’m passionate about.” I’ve been doing this gig for a little while now and reading between the lines of that statement tells me Susan is probably looking for a new challenge. The question is, will she find it?
