Parents Up in Arms over HPV Vaccine Mandate

This media recently reported on the proposed California legislation called the “Cancer Prevention Act” (Assembly Bill 659), introduced by California Assembly members Cecilia Aguiar-Curry (D), Blanca Rubio (D), Laura Friedman (D), Ash Kalra (D), Liz Ortega (D), Diane Papan (D), Wendy Carillo (D), and Senator Scott Wiener (D). The purpose—if passed this legislation would mandate the controversial vaccine known as Gardasil to be administered to all school-aged children attending grades 8 through 12 in the Golden State.
