Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Oil Filter Head To Sump Pipe leak - just part of the problem of oil leaks. Part 1

I found 3 oil leaks. The worst was the oil filter head so I'm going after that first. This system was used by Jaguar for 40ish years but the early ones have a drop in filter and the later ones use a spin on and may have fittings for an oil cooler. The early transducer does not work on the later oil filter head so I have a better kind of oil pressure gauge but there again there is a problem with having a flex oil line so one may drop the center facia and not kink the oil line going to the gauge. This is a rabbit hole and will take many days obtain parts and sort out all the issues. The pipe fittings from the head to the sump are different enough to cause problems and secure a 1/2 to 5/8 fitting. Power steering hose saves the day. This is very complex but may solve an oil leak.
