FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Kernville, California. Catastrophic flooding is underway due to rapidly rising water levels at the Kern River.

The Kern River in the Southern Sierra spilled over its banks Friday, flooding nearby communities, including parts of Kernville, a town about 50 miles northeast of Bakersfield.

Flash flood emergency is issued to few regions in California, on the path of the atmospheric river that’s set to bring intense rainfall / snowfall and cause dangerous flooding.
