The March 10, 2023 update of Roblox BedWars Battle Pass Season 7 introduces the new Murder In Bedtown game mode. Murder In Bedtown is the Roblox BedWars version of Murder Mystery. When you join a Murder In Bedtown match, you are assigned the role of either a Murderer (most games seem to have 2 of them), a Sheriff (probably just 1 of them), or a Civilian.

The Murderers have an instant kill knife attack that they can use every 30 seconds. Murderers win by taking out everyone else.

The Civilians have a sheerer that they can use to get wool from sheep wandering around the map. Wool can then be applied to the Bed that's in the middle of the map. Upgrading the Bed sufficiently brings victory for the Civilians.

The Sheriff is on the Civilians team and starts the match with a crossbow, which is to be used to take out the Murderers for the win.

Also, there are coins that spawn around the map. After collecting 7 coins, you can open up chests that provide a random special item. This can include a sword that allows Civilians to be able to fight back against Murderers.
