A couple of weeks ago, a grisly video made the rounds on social media, and narco news sites depicting the gruesome murder of a police officer in Veracruz.

It's highly likely that CJNG were the responsible group behind the murder. Many speculate that the Police officer, Fredy Peralta Mendoza may have been associated with the Sinaloa Cartel, though these rumors have not been verified.
