After trying multiple settings and configurations, the settings listed below gave me the most consistent result. I had luck with Vulkan, and at times a seemingly flawless experience, but only intermittently. Keep in mind that device heat eventually affected my results, so consider removing any enhancements during your testing. Not playable.

Settings:
Config/Advanced -
-Override Emulated CPU Clock Speed - Yes
-Emulated CPU Clock Speed - 55%

Graphics Settings -
-Video Backend - OpenGL
-Shader Compilation Mode - Specialized (Default)

Graphics Settings/Enhancements -
-Internal Resolution - 2x Native (1280x1056) for 720p
-Anisotropic Filtering - 16x
