Pond | A Traditional Animation (2014)

A bit of a throwback for me.
I made this between 2013 and 2014, before any formal schooling with animation.

In the middle of me making it, I met my wife (just friends back then) at a Christian summer camp we both worked at. Her job was to take photos of the kids for the parents (keeping track of a couple hundred kids per week can be a challenge, making sure you get at least one picture of everyone), and my job was to teach robotics and be a camp counselor.
4 years later our romantic relationship started; I was in Europe at the time, so it was a very long distance relationship; another 3 years and we got married.
