DISCOVER A NEW STORYLINE:

Richter Belmont and Alucard will be by your side throughout your quest to vanquish Dracula, helping you to navigate the maze of Dracula’s Castle and providing you with strong weapons (sometimes willingly, sometimes not). However, where it is good there is evil, so watch out for powerful foes who will try everything in their power to stop you from reaching the throne room.

MASTER THREE EPIC BOSS FIGHTS

Fight against the very essence of evil in two intense duels versus Death and Dracula, both set against a majestic backdrop. If you can survive these gauntlets, prepare yourself for our most ambitious boss showdown yet...

UNLOCK CASTLEVANIA CHARACTER OUTFITS:

Unlock 20 outfits as you progress through the castle, letting you roleplay as all your favorite characters like Alucard, Richter Belmont, Simon Belmont, Maria Renard, Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, or even Dracula himself

HOW TO START DEAD CELLS RETURN TO CASTLEVANIA DLC:

If you’re operating from a fresh playthrough, you’ll need to die three times before starting the Dead Cells DLC. In your next life, a gaggle of bats will fly across your screen. Note that you’re not looking for the typical bats that periodically flutter out of Dead Cells’ caverns — these bats are significantly larger. And redder.

Once you see those bats, you’ll be able to start Return to Castlevania by talking to Richter. He’s located somewhere in Prisoner’s Quarters, the starting area of all runs. Don’t exit the biome before you’ve chatted with Richter. (Richter’s exact location is indeterminate; Dead Cells levels are procedurally generated in a random fashion every time you reset.)

After you find Richter, he’ll lead you through a series of pathways, which eventually leads to the Castle’s Outskirts biome. Castle’s Outskirts is an alternate pathway for the second biome of your Dead Cells runs. Heads up that it’s noticeably more difficult than the other three options — Toxic Sewers, the Promenade of the Condemned, and the Dilapidated Arboretum so you would do well to scour Prisoner’s Quarters for as many level-ups as you can find before proceeding.

Final Thoughts From The DLC...

Perfection from the dead cells team yet again. The new areas are breathtaking, the weapons and skills are very interesting, the enemies added really add to the difficulty of the zones and the bosses are outstanding. Like almost all Dead Cells DLC, absolutely worth your money, especially for that fantastic ending sequence.
