The Fresno Nightcrawlers, also known as the Fresno Aliens, were first captured on a residential security camera from Fresno, California in 2007, although reported sightings occurred since the 1990's. The man claimed to have set the camera up to capture whatever was making his dogs bark at night. His video shows two small creatures, around four-feet tall, walking across the yard, seemingly all legs with no torso and a small head.

In 2011, Yosemite National Park officials installed cameras in the park to capture vandals but captured small armless creatures walking down a path a night. Sightings of similar beings have since been reported across the world.
