Around the clock: Tor-M2U surface-to-air missile system in action within the special military operation

Every day and night, the Western Military District's Tor anti-aircraft missile system ‘scans’ the sky. As any air object enters the area of responsibility that does not respond to the friend-or-foe request, they take it on escort and are ready to hit the target.

🔎 The radar scans the sky 360 degrees and more than 30 kilometres away. The Tor's main tasks include protecting strategically important facilities or military units.

💥 The Tor SAM system can engage four targets simultaneously or fire four missiles simultaneously.

👍 There are no analogues in any army in the world. In the special military operation and border areas, the Tors operate around the clock, saving combat positions of units and civilians from aerial attacks.
