Mexico Day 7: Reflecting on My Business Trip

🌎 Greetings from Mexico! I wanted to share an update on my current business trip here. In the past week, I accomplished a lot! I attended the SAPICA convention in Leon to source new products for the US market, and while there, I also experienced my first futbol match, where the hometown team, Leon FC, won. 🏆

Aside from business, I also had the opportunity to explore some amazing places like the city of Guanajuato and the stunning archeological site of Plazuelas. Plazuelas is an ancient Mesoamerican city that dates back to the pre-Columbian era and is known for its impressive architecture and intricate stone carvings. The site covers an area of about 100 acres and includes numerous buildings and plazas, all surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the Sierra de Pénjamo mountain range. 🏰

Now, I know there have been concerns about safety due to the cartel violence, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the matter. I also commented on the recent abduction of 4 Americans in Matamoros, Tamaulipas and why I do not feel unsafe in Mexico.
