❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on March 8 2023.

▪️The Ukrainian command continues to concentrate forces for a possible offensive in the Kup’yans’k sector. Russian troops are identifying enemy locations and launching targeted artillery strikes.

▪️Near Ploshchanka, Russian assault groups are fighting for dominating heights near Balka Zhuravka. AFU is pulling additional units to the front line to hold the current positions in the Lyman sector.

▪️Wagner PMC continues to cover Bakhmut and leads the offensive towards the highway to Chasiv Yar. AFU periodically attempt counterattacks to maintain ground corridor out of the city.

▪️Representatives of Wagner PMC claim to have established full control over the city's eastern part. Under targeted artillery fire, the enemy has withdrawn the remnants of the defending units to the western bank of the Bakhmutka river.

▪️Russian troops with massive artillery and air support operate to encircle the Avdiivka stronghold. The main objective is to cut supply lines, avoiding a frontal attack on the deeply entrenched defences.

▪️On the northern flank, Russian servicemen have liberated Vesele and are fighting near Krasnohorovskyy pond. Any resistance from the enemy is suppressed by a heavy barrage of artillery and rocket-propelled grenade fire.

▪️Despite massive strikes on Avdiivka, AFU fires artillery at frontline towns. At least four people, including two teenagers, were wounded due to the latest shelling in Donetsk.
