You have my word, if it’s (within reason!) I will ALWAYS defend your right to stand up for your beliefs, without putting perspectives down. I may not agree with what you say but Daamned if I won’t defend your right to say it my brother, my sister, (within bounds), mask or no mask zoom or old fashioned missionary- not no preacher or teacher - I save articles, connect points & try! to keep my opinion out of it & put ‘facts before folks’; but like everybody,
I like certain ideas better than others as I do people - so “#DaamnTalk isnt about me -

It’s about getting the discussion going before we’re not even allowed to have the discussion. Unfortunately I’m seeing people & ideas not get their proverbial day in court for the sole rational that the very philosophy of the opposing side is so distasteful that it doesn’t deserve to be debated about even amongst ourselves or on our own pages.
So, given that free open unregulated internet is over ... the only way to combat this is to establish a paywall. I’ve decided to re-initiate an old vision I’ve had & create a domain to house this grand experiment along with all of its ‘controversial’ & ‘inappropriate’ tidbits of truth. DaamTalk is a community of sorts; (from Locals.com) “A commune of self proclaimed truth seekers exchanging knowledge & invitations to explore topics that make ones self-talk go, ‘Daamn!’ A hub for facts & folks who are similarly sick of platform shadow banning content.

There’s a hellofa lot that I flat out don’t know,
my intent is to initiate conversation & swap perspectives with people, (not try to implement my opinions) I even reached out to a couple of my ‘MAGA’ friends’, as much as they still were, to inquire why they supported Donald Trump (even though he’s a lien dog face pony soldier)
Not one of them got back to me, after years of #FeelTheBern - I don’t necessarily blame them for that either. Doesn’t mean I’m going to stop initiating the Daamn discussion though!

I’ll talk to people of all walks & give them a platform to speak their truth.... because history isn’t written by the passive type & the dialog will go on with or without contribution from the everyday essential people that matter in this new normal... people like you!
