The story is about Clark Kent and Lois Lane who are held as prisoners of war in Japan. While they are under house arrest, Superman becomes a saboteur and causes damage to the Japanese city of Yokohama every night at the Eleventh Hour. Clark suspects that it may be sabotage and Lois wonders if Superman is responsible. One night, Superman escapes the searchlights and puts a barred grille back in place after causing damage to a ship. However, Lois is caught talking about Superman by a guard and is threatened with execution. Superman sends another ship into the sea but is buried under steel girders. Lois is taken out for execution while Superman digs himself out and shields her from gunfire before leaping away with her. Lois is later interviewed on a ship landing in America and reveals that Clark is still in Japan while Superman promised to look after him. As the Eleventh Hour strikes in Japan, there is another explosion.
