Superman - Electric Earthquake

Electric Earthquake (1942)

The story begins with an underwater capsule connected to the city's bedrock by several large wires. A man uses the capsule to cause an earthquake in Manhattan while a Native American man warns the Daily Planet crew about his plan to claim Manhattan as his people's land. Lois Lane follows the man to the underwater capsule where he traps her in a chair and activates his earthquake machine. Superman intervenes and tries to stop the man but is attacked by the wires. Eventually, Superman destroys the machine and saves Lois. The villain is arrested and Clark and Lois admire Manhattan from a cruise ship, grateful to Superman for saving the city.
