Ethereum Shanghai Upgrade Coming Soon! $ETH Withdrawable

Back in January of this year, the number of validators on the network surpassed 500,000 which is a pretty big deal. This corresponds to a minimum of 16 million ETH staked by users. So all of these coins are just locked up on the network with no option to withdraw them. The solution to this is the upcoming Shanghai upgrade which will enable ETH withdrawals, so users can finally unstake their assets.

So far, the team has tested this Upgrade successfully on two of their Testnets, and are preparing for a final Testnet upgrade. The upgrade will occur on the Goerli on March 14, 2023. After this, the official upgrade can take place on the Ethereum Mainnet sometime in April.
