It's been popping up on the news here: an unsubstantiated report lacking any kind of details where an Australian girl is bitten by a cat and... goes completely nuts and does the worst decision making one could possibly make about healthcare and flies to the US, gets rabies treatments, and her insurance company brags about how it "protected her" while traveling. In reality, it would seem, she got scammed by the insurance company and now we are getting scammed by the "news outlets" repeating this ad copy to try to sell unnecessary insurance and to scare people away from traveling to Latin America.
