What they dont say, the Chinese oficials is that in 2020 only 25% of China's power came from Renewables and also the Coal production in China increased in 2022, coal to generate electricity. The quantity of energy produced by coal was at around 60% of the total energy which is insane at a country the size of China and has devastating impact on the environment.
China consumes A LOT of energy, which will have detrimental impact on the country, it already has.
Very soon this "development" will start to have more and more economic costs which in time will cripple the economy.
