The Golden Button, also known as the Gold Play Button, is an award given by YouTube to channels that surpass 1 million subscribers. The award features a golden play button trophy with a YouTube play button logo on it. In addition to the Golden Button, YouTube also awards creators with a Silver Button for channels with 100,000 subscribers, a Diamond Button for channels with 10 million subscribers, and a Custom Play Button for specific achievements or for channels that surpass 50 million subscribers. To receive the Golden Button, creators must apply for it through a form on the Creator Studio section of their YouTube account. Once YouTube verifies the channel's eligibility, they will send the creator the Golden Button award.
