In 1991, Harmony's son was diagnosed with an ear infection. During the next 6 months, he was given countless rounds of antibiotics to no prevail. As she watched her son's health decline, she remembered a Naturopathic doctor, Dr. Berryhill. He recommended ear candles. The idea was bizarre to Harmony; yet, as she candled her son he became more and more relaxed.
She immediately noticed that they were providing relief and comfort to her son. Afterwards she gave rave reviews to Dr. Berryhill about the ear candles, he suggested that Harmony begin to make her own ear candles. She took his advice and knowledge and created her first ear candle.
