California to end $54 million contract with Walgreens

Governor Gavin Newsom says he will not renew a $54 million contract with Walgreens set to take effect in May. This comes after the company’s decision to not dispense abortion drugs in 21 GOP-led states. The Walgreens contract provided medication to California’s correctional system.
