On 25th February 2023, Bola Tinubu of the APC, won the presidential election in Nigeria. The outcome is still being disputed.

The most surprising outcome was that he also won in Rivers State, an oil-rich state in the Niger Delta. Rivers state has always been a stronghold of the PDP. So how did Tinubu's APC win in that state for the first time ever.
