Prusik hitch | Knot tying for Arborists

This is a simple and easy to follow demonstration on how to tie a Prusik friction hitch. This hitch is very predictable and can be used in the main tree climbing configuration or on the climbers lanyard. It is also a great knot for using in mechanical advantage systems.
