Superman - The Arctic Giant

The Arctic Giant (1942)

The story begins with the discovery of an Arctic Giant that was found frozen in Siberia. The giant monster is then transported to the Museum of Natural Science in Metropolis where it is kept frozen using special refrigeration equipment. Lois Lane is sent to the museum to do a story on the monster. While she is there, an accident occurs which causes the ice around the monster to melt and the monster escapes. The monster then goes on a rampage throughout the city, destroying buildings and causing chaos. Superman comes to the rescue and saves Lois, as well as the people of the city, from the monster's destruction. In the end, Lois writes an article about the monster and Clark jokes about fainting, pretending he wasn't there to help.
