WE'RE BAAAACK! BENTON SPEEDWAY FIRST RACE OF THE YEAR

2022 Race Season ended early for us so we got a head start on our winter upgrades. We made all the necessary changes and headed to Benton Speedway at Benton, MO for their first no-prep race of the year. We were completely untested and before today we only had about 5 or 6 passes total on this new Mike Lough Race Engines 427.

We were paired up with a green mustang from the St. Louis area in first round and boy was it a drag race! We managed to pull off that win only to end up drawing #573boys teammate @chrisphelps1966 in his 1966 Chevelle that he calls Taz. Even though we made a clean A to B pass it wasn't enough to pull off the win. Chris went on to win the whole thing and we could not be happier for him.

Since re-opening in 2021(ish) the Benton Speedway has made some big upgrades and the new owner has really turned it into a nice facility. If you look at their schedule you will see sprint car races, enduro races, motocross, jet ski races, tractor pulls, mud bogs, no-prep and mud bogs. The facility is well laid out, family friendly, clean and their concessions are top notch.
