Did you know that dogs can learn up to 250 words and gestures? That's impressive, considering some humans struggle with basic vocabulary.
Positive reinforcement is the most effective way to train dogs, which basically means that bribery works. Just don't tell your dog trainer that you've been sneaking them extra treats.
Dogs have been trained to do all sorts of impressive jobs, from detecting drugs and explosives to assisting people with disabilities. Meanwhile, most of us can barely get our dogs to sit on command.
Brain Training:

Want to improve your brain function? Studies have shown that learning a new language, playing a musical instrument, or doing Sudoku puzzles can all help. Or, you know, you could just binge-watch Netflix like the rest of us.
Your brain is constantly changing and adapting, which is called neuroplasticity. So even if you feel like you're stuck in a rut, there's always hope for improvement. Unless you're a zombie, in which case your brain is probably beyond help.
There's a myth that we only use 10% of our brains, but that's not true. Unless, of course, you're a cat, in which case you're probably only using about 2% of your brain to plot world domination.
Canine Behavior:

Dogs are social animals and thrive on interaction with humans and other dogs. That's why they get so excited when you come home from work, even if you're not sure why you're so special.
Dogs communicate with each other through body language, which is why it's important to pay attention to their cues. For example, if your dog is wagging its tail and rolling on its back, it's probably saying "I love you!" If it's growling and baring its teeth, it's probably saying "Back off, human!"
Dogs have been bred for specific behaviors, which is why some breeds are better suited for certain tasks than others. For example, Greyhounds are great at running, Border Collies are great at herding, and Chihuahuas are great at... um, being cute?
