Comedian to Woke Liberals: Lighten Up!

Emilio Martinez — a self-described former liberal — is on a mission to “save comedy from cancel culture.”

As a comedian, he sees humor as a gift. Something that gives us that God perspective. Even when we’re in the throes of pain and suffering, comedy enlightens us with a redemptive vision that dwarves our sins and failings in comparison to the overwhelming healing power of Jesus Christ.

For Martinez, cancel culture and woke-ism are the opposite of all things good and Christian. Being woke, is about un-forgiveness: Judging a person based on their color or their status — and seeing all failings when committed by the person of the “wrong” race or creed as unforgiveable.
