John served as head coach for 25 years before retiring after a 41 year career spanning several colleges, where he saw his team go to state and even nationals. John shares with us some of his wisdom, glory, asides and stories of the young men and women he had the pleasure of coaching and seeing succeed in the sport of rodeo. He shares how Zig Ziggler played an integral role in his coaching program which lives on in the lives of everyone who sat under his tutelage as Head Coach. Rodeo is Truth as Steve states, it’s where man and beast compete against and with each other, there is nothing like it.
