McGeachy Cemetery, Brooksville FL. This is Cal O'Ween!

Today, in honor of Saint Patrick's Day, I will be taking you to The McGeachy Cemetery in Brooksville FL. This is an old cemetery set back in the woods of a rural community in Brooksville. The McGeachy name is actually Scottish, but there are many old headstones in this cemetery dating as far back as the mid 1800's. Some of the names I found from what was still legible of the antique headstones were McKinney, O'Leary, Allen, Rutledge, Shearer, Cheek and Higginbottom. We'll also be having some delicious Irish food in Land O'Lakes , and I'll take you to a brewery in Spring Hill I think you'll love!
