Notice the perception these brothers have of God
They have done some awful things
Judgement they believe has caught up with with; what’s interesting is they don’t recognize this is Gods grace

There is coming a day when God will say to the inhabitants of this earth = Enough is Enough
We are getting closer to that day because you see the corruption all around us
In our world, Right is wrong and wrong is right
Good people are considered evil and evil people are considered good
Demonize the godly and idolize the wicked
National heroes are criminals and national criminals are saints
Confused nation
News media is corrupt
Boardrooms full of greed
Streets full of violence
If God calls it sin even if culture does not it is sin
Sin has consequences
There is coming a day when God will say no more
Judgement will be dispensed
Some people don’t believe in judgement day
Eternal Judgment is basic
Wednesday = go deeper
Eternal Judgement means one day each will give an account
Spend eternity with God in heaven or apart from God in Hell
While Jesus was on earth he taught for 3.5 yrs.
3 main subjects: Kingdom, Hell & Money
Twice as much about Hell as to Heaven
Why so much about hell? It's real and He doesn't want anyone to go there
In American Pulpits Hell is hardly mentioned
If there was more preaching about Hell in the pulpits there would be less Hell in the streets of America
The Bible is clear: Hell is terrible & Heaven is wonderful
Why is hell so terrible and heaven so wonderful?
In heaven = attributes of God
In hell = no attributes of God
On earth we taste and sample the attributes of God
God is Light | Heaven = Light & Hell = Darkness
God is Love | Heaven = Love & Hell = Hatred
God is Life | Heaven = Life & Hell = Death
If you want nothing to do with God in this life there is an eternal place called Hell where you will have nothing to do with God for eternity
Hell is horrific & is no joke
Who goes where?
SAD - Barna survey = Good people to heaven and bad people to Hell
Bible says otherwise
Revelation 20:15 says, “Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”
I want to make sure I am in that book
Who is in the book? Those in Christ
Good people don't go to heaven and bad people don't go to hell
Forgiven people go to heaven and unforgiven people go to hell
Forgiven people experience the grace and mercy of God
Unforgiven people experience the wrath and judgement of God
I’ve noticed something though
Those of us who have been forgiven are awfully quick to want God to judge those who are not
We are a lot like Jonah
We need to be more like Abraham
We need to see God’s heart
It’s his desire that none would perish

There is so much here about who Jesus is
But what did John notice first among all these things?
Garment to the feet
This is what the High Priest would have worn as described in Exodus 28
Jesus is our Great High Priest who prays for us
Very interesting how the feet were uncovered and like bronze
Bronze in OT = represents judgement
Before John notices the bronze feet of judgement, He notices the robe from head to feet signify Jesus as our High Priest
His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace = VERY significant
Bonze = Chalkolibano
CHALKOS - brass or bronze (represents judgement) = ON TV SCREENS
LIBANOS - frankincense (represents prayer in Holy of Holies) = ON TV SCREENS
Strange word'

Jesus is coming as judge
Christ is coming with judgement but He is not in a rush
Bronze - heavy metal, hard to move and slow to move
Christ moves patiently in His judgement
Some are wondering why the Lord is taking so long to return

Jess ascension - a cloud
He returns on a cloud
2. Wearing a Golden Crown = Victory
3. Holding a Sharp Sickle - Authority
Parable of wheat and tares - angels help separate

Xērainō = dried or withered (on tv screens)
Overripe
In his mercy the Lord has delayed His judgement
He gives us time to repent
