Melissa is a wonderful, kind, warm person and great arborist. Melissa works for Shelter treeing Massachusetts, and she also runs the 'Women's tree climbing workshop'

Melissa talks about what inspired her to get into the industry around 1998, and shares the different jobs and stages of her career since then, including, climbing to inspect for Asian Longhorn beetle.
Melissa, alongside her sister run a tree climbing workshop for women, Melissa explains how and why these workshops work so well for women, how they are able to absorb more information and share experiences than the can in co-ed situations, why she thinks the dynamic changes so much with a male presence in these kind of workshops.
