LIGHT | ILLUMINATION | REVELATION | ENLIGHTENMENT | VISION | UNDERSTANDING

SCRIPTURES:

1. LET THERE BE LIGHT ~ Gen. 1:1-3

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be LIGHT”; and there was LIGHT."

2. LIGHT CAME TO THE WORLD ~ John 1:1-5, 14

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the LIGHT of men. And the LIGHT shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it….And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

3. I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD ~ John 8:10-12

"When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the LIGHT of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the LIGHT of life.”

4. THE LAMB IS THE LIGHT ~ Rev. 21:23-25

"The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God ILLUMINATED it. The Lamb is its LIGHT. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its LIGHT, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it. Its gates shall not be shut at all by day (there shall be no night there)."

5. THE ETERNAL LIGHT OF GOD ~ Rev. 22:3-5

"And there shall be no more curse, but the Throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His Servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor LIGHT of the sun, for the Lord God gives them LIGHT. And they shall reign forever and ever."
