Shocking Report on Breonna Taylor's Killing & Louisville Police Department Revealed by DOJ

The U.S. Department of Justice has released the outcome of its investigation into the Louisville Metro and its police department following the killing of Breonna Taylor by LMPD officers. The 90-page report highlights numerous violations, including discriminatory policing, excessive force, and unjustified searches and seizures, disproportionately affecting Black residents and violating their rights to protected speech. The DOJ and the city of Louisville have agreed to negotiate a consent decree to establish reform, and a virtual community meeting was scheduled to discuss the findings.
